Scratch

Today you will be learning how to use a program called Scratch.  Over the next week and a half, you will be learning more as we create games for using the library databases.

Here is a reference guide to help you with questions. Scratch Reference

Begin your lesson by clicking here and downloading the Get Start Guide.  Work through the guide to start.   There are 9 activities.  After you finish all 9, show me what you have done.

Once you finish the Getting Started Guide, look at the Scratch Cards and complete all of the activities with an * on the blog entry above.  You must complete all 8 cards for today’s grade.  If you finish early, you may explore the Scratch website and try out some of the games others have made.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SHOW ME YOUR WORK!

HAVE FUN!!!

  1. I love this. You are using the Scratch resources to let students learn at their own pace. I look forward to seeing some neat projects.
